"We loved the location, the room, the breakfast option and the upper deck looking out over the city and castle. The room was very comfortable! The only issue was the view, we paid for a castle view room which we technically had, but the window was so small and kind of blocked so we couldn’t really see it. On the plus side we were just down the hall from the deck, which had a fantastic view of the castle!"

"The staff is very friendly, efficient and helpful. The location is perfect for any activity you choose. The bus and train stations are just a short walk. Close to both Old Town and New Town Edinburgh. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Good experience lovely hotel friendly staff good breakfast. I did find the single bed a little uncomfortable. The hotel is very close to John Lewes and 8 mins from Waverley station"

"The hotel was clean, there were a few cobwebs on the light fittings but apart from normal wear and tear it was fine. Staff we came in contact with were all very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Hotel was near enough to Alhambra theatre where we were going for a show. Guy on reception gave us very accurate directions of how to get from hotel and timescale to get there. I would stay again if going to that area."

"It was cute, quaint, picturesque, and smelled nice. The staff were wonderful, especially the guy at the front desk. He made me laugh a lot and he was fun to talk to. It was a super welcoming and safe feeling place. The view of Edinburgh was also very pretty. And they gave me shortbread cookies several times. And they had a hotel cat that I got to pet, it was adorable. Loved it ❤️"
