"Unfortunately, we only had one night to spend in Hilo-wish it could’ve been longer. This is an older hotel I believe, but the front desk lady was very nice and accommodating. The room was quite comfortable, the bed was great-we had a little balcony looking over the bay. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see much off the balcony when I was sitting down because it’s not plexi glass so you can’t really see through it unless you stand up. But it’s a great view. "Lovely restored home. Very nice owner and sweet (I believe Japanese) lady prepared and cooked our breakfast. Lots of snacks and refreshments. We were allowed to use an area in the fridge. No amenities in room but, everything we would want or need was just outside our door. Would love to stay again!"
