"Overall we loved our stay at the Royal Grove and will return. Pros - besides price - it is convenient to Waikiki beach, dining, shopping. The room was clean, and you can get anything you need from the front desk. The customer service was great. The pool is bigger than some of the high-end hotels and it is outside on a nice deck with chairs and pool toys. The hotel (motel) is not modern, but it is cute. If you are looking for a great price w/ convenient location and just a place to sleep it...

"Hotel was very clean and convenient place to stay in Waikiki. Very easy to walk everywhere and with free parking, having a rental car for excursions was no issue. Large rooms allow for different guest setups- like accommodating teenagers or families. We had a beautiful view of the canal from our balcony. We really liked being a block or two away from the crowded areas of Waikiki so we could enter it when we wanted rather than being on top of it at a beachfront hotel. This is a really great...
