"I stayed for a week on business. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Decor and fixtures are dated however, the hotel is currently being refurbished and hopefully these will be improved. The noise from other guest rooms were an issue but if you're looking for a cheap and cheerful hotel you can't really go wrong. Parking was also free with plenty of available spaces"

"The hotel is closing to guests in order to take in refugees so not such a smooth operation. Not the fault of staff who were all friendly and helpful. Full marks to Kamman who kept bar open after his shift ended for late revellers. We were attending a wedding nearby so didn’t require full facilities. Breakfast ok but very busy. "

"Room was lovely, clean and spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and a good location, close to town. Breakfast was really good, with good choices. Didn’t use spa facilities. To improve, some TLC in the room. There were a few lightbulbs that were out, and the shower head could do with replacing. The heating was via a single electric radiator by the front door which meant the bathroom was very cold in the morning. I could also only reduce the temperature for up to 2 hours...
