"The sole restaurant in the hotel is only open for a breakfast buffet. Surprisingly limited options nearby, although the Pershing Square Cafe was excellent once I found it. Meals in NYC are crazy expensive. My chicken pot pie lunch was $25, not including the coffee or anything else. "

"Front desk upgraded me to a room w/a wonderful view of the Empire State Bldg., at no cost. Bathroom seemed very new, plenty of space for a NY room, beds comfortable. Noon checkout, vs. usual 11am, was especially nice after a late night out. Will definitely book there again, when the prices are right. Only trouble was that one elevator was being renovated. In a tall building, that did make for a long wait and crowded car. That said, guests cooperated w/each other, joking about the issue, so, it...
