"Great welcome when arriving rooms a little delayed due to a staff shortage ( we arrived exactly at checkin) but we were kept up to date with status so we had a drink in the garden . Rooms are basic but the bed sheets were clean however the shower could do with a bit of a deep clean but not enough to stop you useing it. For the price it was better than expected ."

"Very modern hotel on Birmingham University campus. Free on site parking in the open or on a multistorey car park. University Railway station easy walk away and frequent bus service 200metres away. Both bus and rail give a fast link to city centre. Comfortable, air conditioned rooms. Mine was a ground floor with large wet room. Breakfast is buffet and excellent. Fresh with the bread baked on-site. I found however, bar and restaurant food in the evenings was poor value for the price charged....

"We stayed here for 6 nights while visiting our daughter at UofB. The location was very convenient as it was near her residence. For the price, this was a great option for us. Nothing special but clean, quiet and comfortable. The shower/ensuite was adequate but showing wear and the shower did not drain well. The listing says that laundry is available but be aware that this is a laundry service and the rates are incredibly high! £11.50 to launder a single t-shirt!!! We did not use this service,...

"Up and coming area with lots happening,Birmingham as a whole is trying to rebuild post COVID. The motel is working hard to upgrade all facilities, so be prepared for a little noise ( but manageable). Staff were really helpful"

"Very nice and comfortable room. Shower takes a bit of time to heat up but nevertheless was very clean, as was the rest of the bathroom. Would definitely stay again! Best location, right in the centre of the town. Only bad thing was that only 1 lift was working, sometimes had to wait a while, but then again you get your steps in for the day taking the stairs!"

"Really pleased with our overnight stay, had a free upgrade which was lovely, rooms were spotless and fresh looking. Kitchen area had everything you could need. Bathrooms spotless and great water pressure! All staff were very polite and welcoming and it had a good atmosphere. We rebooked parking and it was a very safe place to leave our car. Will definitely use Staycation again!"
