"this isn't like a hotel with 24 hour reception--we got in at about 4p and there was no one at the hostel at all. we got into the complex because of someone else who lived there and then the door happened to be open. we didn't have international phones, so we couldn't call to ask for someone to check us into our room, so we ended up using the internet to call hotels.com to help us find someone who worked at the hostel to let us in. the hostel itself is nice, a work in progress more than anything...
