"Wonderful! Perfect location to stay for volcanoes NP. Didn't think we would catch an eruption but so thankful a staff member went down the hallway at 5AM loudly declaring "we have an eruption!!!!" So we got up and caught the eruption in the predawn hours in the dark which was AMAZING, as this episode was done before night fell. Tiny rooms but nice big closet to store stuff. Tiny bathrooms, tiny everything, dated rooms, but clean and neat and simple, perfect for walking 20 steps out to the back to see the volcano eruption! "

"Perfect place to stay when visiting Volcano National Park. It’s so close and far more affordable than staying at the lodge….and it has a fridge, microwave, TV, coffee…so many more amenities…next time I’ll stay longer to enjoy our zen lanai. Thank you! "

"Beautiful & peaceful location on the big island away from the busier areas. Our host was very welcoming and always made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of a crackling fire every night. Large house with everything we needed and a very unique private yard setting."

"This property was very clean and well-stocked with many items to make our stay very comfortable. The views are beautiful and we did enjoy a round of golf. It’s not in great shape, but the reviews are stunning! We really enjoyed the outdoor living part of this home. The pool was wonderful to have; however, the listing stated it was heated, but should be clarified to say “solar heated”. We would definitely come back to stay at this property again!"
