Awesome tropical vibe will make you feel like you are in another country. Be sure to book room #103 for the view outside your window which is an entire wall of glass yet very private.. Self check in and no staff on duty but super easy check in and everything you need is right there for you."

"It's a converted house at the end of a very long driveway. The only issue (absolutely only one) is that the walls aren't especially thick and you could hear people in the next room over. I didn't hear them often but it meant I was worried that if I watched TV I might disturb my neighbors. Otherwise it's a very clean well appointed place to stay. The room is very tastefully decorated and the furniture in good shape. The bed is very comfortable and everything is in good repair and working...

"We had a wonderful stay at Jim's property. We had seen some reviews talk about the beautful gardens, but we had no idea! For plant lovers, gardeners, or simply nature lovers, this is the place for you! The property is full of old growth ohias, hapu'u ferns, and countless varieties of flowers and plants. The most special however are the numerous vireya rhododendrons! Absolutely amazing. The guest suite has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the street is quiet and secluded, but...

"The property has two sides to it. We booked a two bedroom and ended up in the side with the one bedroom. The other side was the two bedroom part of the property (and the view in the photo). The property was very nice overall and typically very quiet with the sounds of nature being the only ones you heard so it was a good overall stay."

"Outstanding location near Volcano national park with friendly and helpful staff. All of the details were thought of from breakfast to shoe cleaning kit and bathrobes. A book with all of the information you’d need about the property, about the National Park, and about the area was provided. We highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Perfect place to stay right outside of Volcano National park. "

"What a perfect little rustic mountain getaway. If you like cooler nights, warm days and peace and quiet than this is where you want to stay. The hot tub was wonderful in its little jungle setting and the cabin treehouse was perfect for our family. Will definitely stay again. "
