"This was our first stop on a 30 day trip in Italy and we got spoiled fast. The staff and place was welcoming, comfortable and high end. Our room was very spacious with a king bed and large modern bathroom. Bed was wonderful with nice linens. Furniture is starting to show some wear but was very clean. Location is great as is walkable to all the main sites but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Lounge area is very nice and complimentary touches like candy and flavoured water in the lobby add to the feel of an accelerated experience. Lots of nice places to relax after a long day of sightseeing both inside and out. My only negative is breakfast is not included and not worth the extra expense and there is not a satisfying dining option on site, but many within walking distance. We enjoyed a wonderful experience and would definitely return and recommend. Thank you Plazzo Montebello!"

"This was the perfect place to stay for me in Florence. The view from my room of the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella was breathtaking. All the main tourist attractions were in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. "

"We spent 4 days at this hotel in Florence. We booked via Expedia. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the main train station. The check-in was easy and the clerk was patient, engaging and informative. The room was clean with modern look. The breakfast was included in the price and it had a great variety of fresh foods. Check-out was effortless. The entire front desk thanked us for our stay and wished us a good vacation. Excellent experience, bravissimo!"

"I traveled to Florence on a solo trip and this hotel was a great place to stay! The location was fantastic; very close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, the Uffizi, Academia Galleria, Duomo, etc! The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. Best of all, the front desk staff, Nicola and Giovanni, were very kind, friendly, and helpful with recommendations/any questions I had. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Florence! Highly recommend!"
