Shinjuku Hotel Guide - Hotels with Bar in Shinjuku, Tokyo

"This hotel was HUGE and here are the things we really liked: the room was spacious by Japanese standards and we had an amazing view. The nightly Tokyo Light show was right outside our window which was super cool. We could also see Mt. Fuji on some days in the distance. The location by Shinjuku was perfect (and not the seedy parts). It did take a while to get to some parts of Shinjuku and the station is super confusing! But overall we loved the location. The hotel has a GREAT 7-11 with smoothie and latte machine and great options for quick fresh snacks. The dinings options were good for nice sit down type places, not as many quick casual options in the hotel. The laundromat was great but for a hotel of 1000 rooms, maybe more machines would be good. The bathrooms could be upgraded - they were fine but not 4-star level and the hot water needed to be hotter. Staff were great. Overall, even with the small shortcomings, we loved our stay at Keio Plaza. "

"Really great location around the Shinjuku area! The area is also next to the Nichome district making it a very popular nightlife area around the weekend! Always the best place to stay in Shinjuku especially with the spa on the basement level"

"Great hotel. Loved the Godzilla theme. Everything was well-presented. The single room was very small, which is fine, but be prepared for how little it is. It was also a little confusing figuring out how to get to the hotel, as its entrance is behind the building it's part of."

"In the heart of Kabukicho, 5 mins walk from Higashi Shinjuki and Shinjuki Sanchome metro stations. Tons of entertainment, eateries and shopping close by. Hotel had a coin-operated laundry and stored baggage after we checked out which was convenient. Decent sized rooms by Tokyo standards that was clean and comfortable. Bought breakfast package which was awesome. Served both Japanese, Chines and Western cuisine with lots of choices. View from the dining room on 12th floor waa awesome as well. "

"The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful, respectful, and efficient. They will only clean your room every 4 days rather than daily. New towels and bottles of water would be given daily in a bag outside your door. The Okubo train (4 minute walk) and the Shin Okubo train station (10 minute walk) are conveniently close by. I found the restaurants on the main strip were mediocre, so you would have to travel by train to get some better, authentic Japanese meals. Mainly Korean and Northern Chinese restaurants surround the hotel and surprisingly, a few Vietnamese restaurants as well. However, a 10 minute walk towards their financial district, I found a few great ramen restaurants where locals dine. This is heading toward Omoide Yokocho and the shopping area of Shinjuku. This was my 2nd stay and may come back again because I know this area and found the train stations conveniently located. "
