"Overall a great location and most staff were excellent and welcoming. We were not able to access our room until the posted time but could drop off our luggage at the front desk. Not happy about all the extra fees and still trying to resolve the pricing. We loved the restaurants in the hotel with extra incentives to dine there. "What a beautiful, historic property! That being said, the word “historic” is code for “no elevator”. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to all the tourist spots, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a nicer stay, and we hope to be back soon!"

"This historical spot is perfect for a get away. We loved walking to surrounding spots and events. We also used the free transit for local stops. We loved eating at Alleia and Colliope. Great long weekend stay! Make sure to get John to tell you the story of room 311."

"This is an award winning boutique hotel with a lot of history. Breakfast was great not the usual pastries and a free wine and cheese with nightly entertainment. We were there two nights one a singer the next a man giving history talks "

"This property was in a great walkable area, convenient to all top to do's in historic Savannah. The hotel is older but the room was comfortable, the staff lovely and all was clean and as expected. We got a great rate for this stay so were very pleased overall for the excellent value. There was an evening wine & cheese reception with a piano player that many guest stayed to enjoy."

"Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. "

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
