"We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall."

Inside you can’t hear a thing and all bedrooms are on the opposite side and overlooking the fields to Banburgh Castle and the frame isles lighthouse. "This was my second time using this property and whilst the first time was excellent this time wasn’t as good. The main problem was that we were ignored at breakfast and when we did get there attention and ordered they forgot to bring it to us.Also the toilet wouldn’t flush, the basin tap was loose on arrival and it took 2 days to get sorted."
