"A warm welcome from the friendliest receptionist (sorry we didn’t get her name). She looked after our bags while we had a delicious lunch in the brasserie. Our room was lovely - clean and spacious with a lovely bottle of wine. Toiletries in the bathroom were lovely quality although from an eco point of view a shame to see so much single use plastic. Conveniently located for touring the Cotswolds and Stratford on Avon by car Biggest issie is very poor wifi in rooms except on phones, ipad connectons dropped off as soon as you leave the main pub area "

"Had to wait at reception as person walked away from desk without acknowledging me. Was then dealt with next available person. Very courteous and offered me a choice of ground floor or upstairs room. Given a nice quiet room overlooking the inner gardens. Told me everything I needed to know about my stay. Just a shame as I told him I pre booked table in Pierre Bistrot that he didn’t mention guests get 10% off their bill. I didn’t see the poster until we returned from the theatre later that night!!...
