"We stayed one night on our way to Scotland. The hotel is easy to find on the outskirts of Berwick upon Tweed and is located in beautiful grounds. On arrival we were made to feel welcome and check-in was simple. Our room was lovely, very big with a large en suite and a view over the gardens on the "pods". As others have commented the rooms are not totally sound proof, but we weren't bothered by the noise. We slept well in a very comfortable bed. Dinner was excellent. The food was very tasty...

Good bathroom facilities, use of a kitchen and dining room, close to a petrol station with shop so easy to pickup food and drink and essentials. Is also a pub next doors. Hostel Cost £25.00 per night, plus extra for bedding and towels if needed, very reasonable. Are mixed dorms, we were lucky to be 2 females in a room for 6, just us 2 and that was arranged by Sean. Might be better to have single sex dorms but...
