"Had an overnight stay with my sister and her dog at Hogarths Hotel. The hotel was easily accessible from the motorway. It was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful, the dinner and breakfast were very good and the hotel was dog friendly."

"Overall a good stay at Hockey House, friendly staff, excellent food and a good night's rest. My only concern is that a superior double is nothing more than a standard double just a slightly larger room. No chairs or stool to sit on just a bed, a table with drinks making facilities and a standard bathroom. I would stay again but would ask to see the room first before accepting it as my stay."

"Nicely updated old hotel/pub that gives you old English character with modern amenities. Small hotel (<35 rooms), but the rooms are a nice size and the decor throughout is warm and comfortable. Pub includes a beautiful bar and a large dining area. Only ate breakfast there, but it was great and worth paying extra to get it included. Employees were friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs. Great location. Only knock I would have was that my bed was a bit firmer than I prefer, but...

"We have stayed at the Limes 3 times over the last 18 months for a week at a time. The Owner (Dave) and his son (Dan) are fabulous people. We also joined the Limes for the New Years Eve party. It was such fun to see families with little ones enjoying the celebrations. Many activities for all. As with most UK hotels there is a kettle, cups, tea and milk on the ready. There is a warm and welcoming family atomosphere at the Limes! "

"The White Lion is a nice pub but, unfortunately, my room was very small with a tiny bathroom. I retired early but the noise from the pub was very loud. Food was ok but not spectacular."
