"I arrived at The Brickmakers Arms tired after a long drive, only to be told that they had no booking for me, the owner was out for the evening and they didn't do food - neither supper nor breakfast - despite the fact that I had a confirmation email for bed and full breakfast. "Room was lovely and clean. Lifts were a bit of a nightmare even though there were 4! Checked in at 3.20 and rooms weren't ready but they gave us ones that were. Went for breakfast at 8.45 and luckily missed the huge queue that formed behind us. Full english breakfast, cereal, fruit toast, croissants, make your own waffles which were a hit with the kids, juice, water coffee etc, great for free! Would recommend for the price and would go again!"
