"Reception lobby area was beautiful, and staff everywhere were very attentive, helpful and nice. I was driving and I thought property directions were challenging. In addition, I somewhat lucked into a decent parking area that I was able to repeat all three days, but this was not easy due to minimal signage."

"Right from the check in the staff made our visit special. I had some concerns with how the rooms were booked and the Expedia representative addressed them immediately and the help of our check in person. They were able to have our two rooms together to be closer to our girls. The food was great at the park buffet for breakfast and lunch. Miguel was our waiter for most of the days. He always as cheerful and attentive. All the themed restaurants were top notch. Our personal favorite was the Peruvian restaurant. Oh and If you book through Expedia, we got a beach themed dinner, which was also amazing. Speaking of Expedia, if you book through them, the grand Sirenis had special food and really gave us special attention. The beach was awesome, great food options down there and some nice snorkeling. The dive shop guys were also awesome. We dove on day using the resort. Good guys and convenient diving options. Only critique would be I was unable to book before I arrived, so I did find other options before to make sure I secured enough dives for my family. Overall great place to stay, great people, great food. Thanks for a great holiday. "

"Lovely location. Loved seeing the spider monkey overhead and iguanas wandering. The fishspa is something special for Noth Americans. People seemed to enjoy the monkey sanctuary. We will do that next visit. "

"Great stay! Rooms were exactly as posted, they are not modern and show wear and tear but are very clean, spacious and well designed with a fantastic beachfront patio/eating area. Beach location is the best in the area and beach is well maintained. Pretty good snorkeling right off the beach, we saw lots of tropical fish and stingrays. The beach has beautiful soft white sand. 😍 All staff we encountered were lovely and helpful. Food can be ordered to the room, pool or beach and is very tasty and reasonably priced (breakfast under $10 USD). There are more dining options in Akumal, about 6 mins drive away. Terrific margaritas at the bar next door! The guests when we visited were mostly older couples but several families with young kids as well. The hotel had a friendly and relaxed vibe and was very quiet after dark. Access road was extremely bumpy but manageable at a slow speed in our rental sedan. Great proximity to many cenotes and Xel-Ha!"
