"The service was impeccable I was greeted upon arrival. Was given an overview of the property. My king suite room was spacious and the bathroom nicely appointed with glass surrounded water closet and shower. Nice balcony spent time out there and the beach side Bali beds. The restaurants were amazing with various scrumptious entree offerings. Many activities, shopping and onsite casino. Something for everyone. My first trip to the DR, this resort was impressive, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. "

"Excellent oceanfront room; we loved the pool, the beach, and some of the à la carte restaurants. The service from everyone was outstanding, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We believe the nighttime entertainment activities could be improved a bit. Additionally, it would be helpful to train the train drivers to inform passengers about the route and ensure they remain focused during the ride. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily return!"

"This was an amazing hotel. The property is quite big so there isn’t a need to leave the hotel. However if you do want to walk to the local shop it’s about 20/30 mins. Excursions were easy to book and worth the money. There are four restaurants but only one you don’t need to book which was a little annoying as we weren’t aware beforehand. You have to be quick as reservations go quick. "

"The Bavaro Barcelo Beach Hotel made my first impression of DR a memorable one. I love this property so much, I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. We had an ocean view premium room and I really enjoyed the extra amenities we were offered. Overall I had a really great Birthday Trip."

"The bartenders were great! Elvin and Pedro by the snack bar are wonderful! Elvin always came by to make sure we had everything we needed. The housekeeper MariCruz was not friendly at all. She was no where to be found until the day we checked out (i guess she was expecting us to tip her) When we arrived there was clumps of hair in the shower drain and chewed up gum on the floor. We had to ask for wash cloths and extra towels every day.our mini bar was not restocked. We had to bring our own water back to the room. Maricruz was heard in the hallway complaining how she has 25 rooms to clean in a day. (So unprofessional) All the other housekeepers were always friendly to bad they weren't our housekeeper. Our Butler Fednon, we only saw him on the first day of check in. We never saw him again. We text him to confirm our dinner reservations but He said he had an emergency. No other butler filled in for him we missed out on reserving dinner because of him. We were told by reservationist all restaurants were booked for the week. Our master suite was spacious and a great view. The nightclub was really nice the casino was ok. The food was delicious every day. I would not say this is a 5 star. The price we paid was def. Over priced. We usually stay in the presidential suite in Secrets Cap Cana. That is 5 star. (Btw was sold out) BeLive was a good choice we had fun and enjoyed most of the staff. Regulate the ppl holding beach chairs. "
