"Great location, good value for money, but I have never stayed in a room so small without a window. It was a little too claustrophobic. The TV/movie service was good, the bed was a little stiff but i have had far worse in Hotels."

"2nd stay at the Hilton Metropole. Room nice but a little tired compared to the one we had last year. Staff lovely. Breakfast great. GF and DF options. Good labelling. The west lifts needs attention. One wouldn't go anywhere, one had shaky doors, one would go from floor 12 to the ground but the doors wouldn’t open! We had to go up to floor 1 and get out there. Another 2 families had the same and were worried about getting stuck. Reported to a porter."
