"Great location, you get to feel the"local environment" while staying within walking distance of downtown. The staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Clear and flexible check-in/check-out options. The owners also have a diving school and a surf school, they pick you up at the hostel when you book directly. We had an awesome diving experience. We will be back for more diving and for surfing lessons. "

"Large yard with crystal-clear swimming pool. Shade trees and lots of seating. Manager very helpful with details of Expedia billing. Purified water available at an extra charge. A/C on 10 pm to 8 am in dorm only, and only to Oct. 31. Bird viewing on the property was excellent with many species to see. Clean, comfortable beds. Big lockers with lots of space for big packs."

"Incredible stay! Manuel and the staff were so kind and courteous. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you plan to rent a car this place is perfect, close to town (10-15 minute drive) and close to the beach (8 minute drive). Perfect for families with kids, we stayed in the deluxe suite which was perfect for a family of 5. "
