"We've vacationed at Playa Azul over a dozen times over the years and we absolutely love staying there! The beach area and snorkeling are first rate! Plenty of shaded seating and the tiki bar is right there (Great Drinks & the Beer is COLD). The menu items are also first rate and you can't beat the breakfast bar! Great service, fantastic coffee, and plates made to order by the chef. Perhaps the main reason we keep going back is the wonderful staff! They are so friendly, accommodating, and dedicated to making your vacation fun and relaxing! Case in point, I accidentally dropped my wallet in a cab on the way back to Playa Azul and I didn't noticed it until 10-15 minutes after we got back. The front desk immediately got on the radio and tracked down the cab driver and he found the wallet and returned it! That's the type of over-the-top service the Playa Azul staff provides! We highly recommend vacationing at Playa Azul to anybody! We can't wait to go back in August!"

"The staff was Phenominal! It was the perfect laid back feel. The beach was amazing and the dock was convienent for excursions and even snorkeling onsite. Albertos just down the beach was fun to explore to. Our guys did a fishing trip and caught Mahi and Albertos cooked it up for us BEST FISH TACOS. We will definately be going back, hopefully ASAP ;) "

"Older resort with old world charm. Not the clean and sleek modernist of the Dreams resort. Being on the edge of the three resorts made it nice for being an adults only resorts, unlike other hotels where we stayed at with adults only area being in the middle. Many pathways between the buildings made for easy walking. Restaurants and food was excellent. It would have been nice to have more/better signage for directions. The beach sand was a little rough/sharp for extended barefoot walks."

"Solid property by Cozumel standards. Beach is better than pictures - but water shoes are a must. Staff was very friendly. Spa was small but a nice touch with very good massages. "
