"We had a great nights stay on the ocean Mist, the staff were great and very knowledgeable on the local area, where best to eat. It was also good to get a run down on the history of the boat. "Edinburgh is very over priced when it comes to hotel rooms. I managed to get this room quite cheap so expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. All the things that you want to be good were good. VERY CLEAN (room and linen) although a shared bathroom, it was a very clean and spacious one. Very very friendly staff. The room furniture was dated a little, but judging a chest of drawers holds no point, as long as it is clean and not broken. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This hotel is in a lovely quiet spot on the edge of Kirkcaldy. It is peaceful, the room we were in was beautiful, luxurious and large. The food was delicious and we attended a function in a lovely room. The only thing missing from the hotel experience was a spa/swimming pool and gym. There looks to be enough space and it would entice me back!"

"Great location for visiting Dunfermline, Fife Coast and Edinburgh, maybe a bit too close to the road on one side of the hotel (bit noisy cars) and the room is quite small but very clean and nice decor. Parking is free. Breakfast was great, good selection and the food was refreshed often. Staff were nice and polite, could maybe smile a bit more 😀 "
