"When we first arrived at this hotel, just coming off a long trip in New Zealand and Australia where hotels were more similar to what we were used to, I was a bit depressed by the overall size of the hotel and our room. But as we got used to things we felt more and more comfortable. "Hotel conditions are fair. Staff services are excellent. Location is very convenient. Family Mart is just around the corner. Many eateries nearby. We stayed for 8 nights in a double bed room and a twin beds room. Room size is reasonable. They clean the room daily. They don’t have coin laundry in the hotel but there are two public coin laundry nearby so is not a problem if you have a longer stay. Would come back to this hotel on future visits."

"Very cute hotel close to everything we needed. The rooms are very small so not big enough for a family of four (would require 2 rooms). Their restaurant was incredible as we ate breakfast there every morning (a traditional Japanese breakfast) and we had dinner one night which was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, 5/5!"

"This hotel was in an excellent location. It was close to the metro, shopping and many food options. Children under over 6 are considered adults. We had to pay an extra 2000Y per day for my 9 year old. Which was an unexpected expense. The hotel is run down and could use better lighting and replace the carpeting. "

"Proximity to subways, variety of dinning options and access to convenience stores was a bonus, especially on days when you just want to grab something quick to eat. Reception staff was always helpful and friendly. We have stayed at Solaria hotels before, and this one did not disappoint. "

"A bit away from the business of Ginza but still close enough to the action. Rooms are the typical small portions in Japan but at 18 sq meters, we didn't have much room to fully open our checked luggage. However, the best thing about the room was the washer-dryer, even if it did take a while for the load of laundry to be completed."

"I liked that it was only a short walk away from the train station. The room was small but functional. Bed was comfy. Pillows weren’t. It was everything I needed on a trip that I only needed a place to sleep, and use the bathroom."

"We loved everything about this hotel including its location. Their lunch buffet was amazing. The only complaint I have is that some of their front desk staff speak very little English, and it was very difficult to communicate with them even with Google Translate."

Nice but details like coffee pods lack

"The location was nice. The staff was very friendly and nice as well. There are plenty of restaurants within the hotel and just steps away from the back entrance which was so convenient after a long day os sightseeing. What I did not like was the hot hallways to your room are with no ac and it seems they turn off the AC to the rooms in the wee hours because it would be so warm in the middle of the night and the thermostat would not respond. But during the day, it seemed to be fine. Also, they are skimpy with coffee pods and do not leave them in your room! They have a way to scan for them using a QR code but it did not work. My husband went out to find a housekeeper and asked for a few which we received 4 so we used 2 that morning and later that day when we returned housekeeping had taken two pods back so we had zero again for the following morning! So for a 6 night stay for two rooms we basically had two pods to use! So cheap about that it was flabbergasting! Anyways, aside from being cheap with small stuff like that everything else was nice. "
