"Very helpful & friendly owner, clean room, nice breakfast"

"The hotel is inconspicuous on a dreary day but has double doors from the bar to the street so would be lovely on a summers day. The rooms are spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was fitted with a lovely modern shower and the vista was straight out to the Bay (which was sadly freak and dreary). One lady (Margaret) was amazing. She checked me in and made sure I was happy with everything. Then after I went to my room I went to the bar and was being served pints by Margaret...

"The proprietor was very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. There was also tea,coffee, biscuits and water available in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. They do not do breakfast but the proprietor recommended places where we could obtain an evening meal with a pint of real ale and also some breakfast the following morning. Would definitely stay there again. "

"The Midland is SO close to being an absolutely brilliant hotel. And the customer service when you're there (I genuinely wouldn't even bother trying in advance) is absolutely brilliant. It's in a great location, the rooms are quirky and fun and the showers are great. What more could I ask for? 3 small improvements 1. Allergens on food menu (and for what the food is, it's a touch expensive) 2. Earlier breakfasts - considering how many people stay there for work, having 7.30 as the earliest time...

"Beautify Place right on Beach promenade with ocean view from my room, accessable to everything. The Staff was was highly accommodating to all my personable needs such as scheduling my Taxi to Heysham Port at 1 AM, making sure not to miss my sail to the Isle of Man."
