The young lady at the reception desk was full of smiles and let us borrow a uk plug for our chargers! We only brought America plugs! Also, Sara Jean in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel very welcome and gave us some good advice for what to do in York! It was such a great experience! I recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot out in the country! "

It's a beautiful old city lots of history, great choices for dining, brilliant public transport especially Tram right though the City to Leith and to the Airport. The only bad thing was when driving there were lots of pot holes on the roads this time

I loved the National Museum of Scotland, it houses an amazing variety of exhibits with lots of interactive opportunities throughout. Carlton hill with it's historic monuments and fantastic views was another highlight for us.... I could go on and on!!

Edinburgh is an incredible place to visit with history at every turn. It's such a gorgeous and vibrant city. We loved the local pubs and the Christmas market. We enjoyed walking to see the sights and shopping! All around wonderful experience!!

A perfect city for tourists. As seniors, walks were a little difficult in this city with so many hills, but we would recommend Edinburgh to everyone, especially in the off-season when there are few crowds anywhere. The bus system is excellent.

Edinburgh is an amazing city! So much history and very friendly people. We booked the Hop-on Hop-off tour (the one with a red, green and blue line) and it was a great way to see the city with interesting facts, and know what to go back to.

We attended a workshop with Islander to build a custom Harris tweed bag. Only a little more than the price in the shops and you get a custom designed bag - highly recommend! We also visited the Royal Britannia Yacht which was a great trip.

great city for an uplifting visit. I went to attend a brilliant art exhibition at the National Gallery of Scotland . lovely friendly cafes and restaurants; nice shops. Edinburgh printmakers for short courses. Botanical gardens a plus.

"We loved staying here, in the quieter area of South Queens ferry. The hotel is a 30 second walk from the bus stop, and close to the airport, which was awesome and made getting around very easy. They also offer free airport shuttle Monday-Friday, which we greatly appreciated.
The beds are AMAZING! Everyone warned me Scotland would have awful beds, but Dakota's bedding and mattress were so soft and so comfortable.
The restaurant downstairs was wonderful, and the food was top tier. The Sunday Roast was massive, and so incredibly tasty. All of the servers and hostesses in the dining area were phenomenal, as well.
The front staff were so sweet and helpful, especially Chloe and Niamh! Chloe spent a lot of time explaining the best ways to get around and what to sight see. They were always pleasant, even when it was crazy busy in the hotel. If I'm fortunate enough to return to Edinburgh, I would 100% stay here again"
