"Hi we really enjoyed our stay however there was some issues with some of the lamps in room 4 not working and broken and then some other cosmetic damages like the bath. However overall we slept well, and the complimentary breakfast although basic did the job. We got a very good deal so was definitely worth it all. "We visited Edinburgh for the first time. Came across this place during our research and booked without hesitation, as it was truly so historical. We didn’t mind it was 20-25’ cab drive from the city center and it was worth it. Dating back to 1480, it is still in such a good shape. This is literally the oldest place we’ve ever slept in. "Stayed here a couple of times now, both times were great both in high season and low. Comfy, safe bedrooms, amazing staff. Perfect location. Low season they were doing Reno’s on the bathroom which was annoying but easy enough to use a different floors bathroom"
