"The ocean view from the room is exceptional and the in-room hammock is lovely. The bar/restaurant employees were incredibly friendly and took great care of us. However, the beach was disappointing. There was glass from broken bottles, broken floor tiles, large rocks, and other debris on the shoreline. Once you get past that, the beach sand is soft and smooth. Sleeping was a struggle. "I enjoyed the location of this hotel, very walkable to downtown but just far enough to be quiet from the downtown parties. The only slight downfall for the hotel is kids noise level in the morning at the pool. Our room was very close to the pool and it sounded like they were in our room."

"We loved the property, the location was not bad, we would have preferred the bell staff to deliver our luggage to the room which was upstairs on arrival. Also when we departed we had to carry our bags to reception, not bad but would have preferred them to be picked up. Next would be the greeting no one greeted us unless we were going to eat int he restaurant, maybe we are spoiled because we are used to people whomever they are and whatever their position would at least greet us with a hello....

"The property is on the far South side of the city. We walked to virtually every other beachside resort and would argue that this is the best (all things considered). The manager Daniel is an honest and welcoming host. He added to our comfort level (our first time traveling in Mexico) and we'd recommend Zombay because of him. He's a good guy and an excellent host. "My stay at the SoHo Boutique Holbox was lovely. The grounds were nice and clean with a beautiful rooftop pool overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Transportation to the city center was easy and convenient and took about 15 minutes via taxi. The staff was super friendly and helped with all of our needs and requests. I would book this hotel again due to its easy access to the beach and several other beach day clubs nearby. "
