"The location of the hotel is great - it's a 4 minute walk to the Paddington station, and a 10 minute walk to an area with tons of restaurants, shops, etc. The hotel room itself was clean and comfortable. The only reason for me giving 4 stars for the property condition & facilities is that they charge extra for A/C (it seems this is quite normal in the UK ; we just had the bad luck of being there during a heat wave, so it was harder)."

"Great hotel. Clean comfortable room. Got there early morning and they held my luggage until the evening. Five minute walk to/from Heathrow Express train."

"Charles was extremely helpful with our check-in! He gave us much needed information on the area as well as tips for traveling to the airport by train. He also gave us information about a restaurant we had heard about in the area. Ironically, we went to the restaurant for lunch, but ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and we LOVED it! Great food - the chef obviously knows what he's doing! We'd eat there even if it was located in our home town. Added bonus - they even had a workbook titled "Sleep" to help travelers with issues affecting their sleep hygiene. This is a workbook that I would pay for, no doubt! We wish there was a Novotel everywhere we travel!"

"This is a period property with many of it's original features and loads of character. It doesn't have air conditioner but there was a large fan in my room and you could open the window which kept my room cool on a warm night. There is no lift (I was on 2nd floor) but the staff took my case up and down the stairs for me. Everything is provided in the room and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It's 2mins. from Paddington Station in a quiet "square". I think it's a excellent find for 1 or 2 nights in London with the convenience of being near the station. Definitely recommend."

"Great location near Hyde Park and Paddington Station. Hotel was clean, staff were great. Rooms are small but plenty of hot water. No AC and it was warm out so a bit uncomfortable at night. Nice little bar and great breakfast."
