"I was initially put off booking this hotel due to some of the reviews on it but needed affordable accommodation near the West End so just went for it. I'm glad I did. "Friendly check-in staff, we ungraded from a twin to a 'family' room with two double beds, it was well worth it for the extra space, but wardrobe & shelf space wasn't great, just ok for a couple of days stay. Only issue was all the same size rooms faced the same way, so we were overlooking the car park, but doubles or king rooms were all on the other side with great views! Drinks at the bar were a bit expensive but we expected that, breakfasts were good, and they were training new wait staff...

"Staff and rooms excellent, well situated. The breakfast team seem disorganised and quite slow. We were unaware that we were able to have breakfast in the club area until the last day and were put in an overflow room and all guests in there would be forgotten. When our food and drinks eventually came staff took them to several tables before finding us. In the buffet area there were no plates or bowls and nobody to ask, such a shame. We had some pubs right beside the place so that when we wanted to go out it was so easy and quiet from all the other tourists and noise higher up on the royal mile. Being on the royal mile was so awesome so walkable to all places and having the hop on and hop off bus so close to the aparthotel was great for a day of full tourist activities.
