"Pros: Close to el fogon and don sirloin for eating options. Walkable to centro (eg 20 mins to Benito and 5th) Beautiful room, I looked out towards the coast and had a tree view and morning sun. great big bed, nice firm mattress. Was close to my chosen dive shop. Cons: Room not soundproofed - can hear outside, upstairs, next door and everything in the hallway Hallway is open to outdoors, traps heat and gets hotter than outside. Requested maintenance as (weird problem) the shower ONLY had HOT...

"I love Valentin and had no issues previously but this year I found a few things I did not like. The hotel needs more restaurants. There were many nights where the wait for some of the restaurants were 1.5 to 2 hours long. With no dinner buffet option, we had no other choice but to wait. Since our dinner ended up late most nights, we did not make it to any of the shows. "Wonderful stay at the Reef Coco Beach. All staff members we encountered were friendly and always willing to help. The resort is small and the afternoon pool games are not on the same level you'd get at the larger resorts, but the activities team always worked hard to keep people interested. However, we wanted a smaller resort, so it was just what we were looking for. Walkable to 5th ave and completely safe to do so. The food was surprisingly good for an all inclusive. "Staff, location, restaurant and food are great. The only thing is that the music may keep you up a bit in late night but who cares about sleeping while on holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and music wasn’t an issue as I didn’t need to get up early. Highly recommend. "

"This was good place and I would stay again. Very easy to get to 5th and easy to check in. A safe location. The only thing is that laundry is listed as an amenity but they don’t have any laundry on site.
